Artemis and Aphrodite

Members of the VYP (Valuing Youth Participation) group leading a carousel discussion with adults attending the Eurochild conference in Milan. Eurochild is a network of organisations working across Europe to improve the quality of life of children and young people. The theme of this year's conference was participation, and for the first time young people took a full and active part in the proceedings. The group was drawn from Sweden, Malta, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria and - as is obvious in this photo - Greece. (Their work was facilitated by my friend Dan from Stoke-on-Trent.) I was on the advisory group for the event, which has meant several trips to Brussels as well as these three days in Milan. It's a hard life...
