Finally!

I've been wanting to catch the hummingbird at our feeder for a long time. I just learned recently that Anna's Hummingbirds do not migrate from Washington State and are here all year. I thought they did and took down the hummingbird feeders in late October. One day a female hummingbird flew up to the window and hovered as if to say, "hey! I'm still here." So I put the feeders back up and now hummers are coming regularly to feed. Every time I've seen one I've missed it until today when I finally got lucky. I decided to post this photo because it is the sharpest and brightest I got. Maybe next time I'll get some action too. :) Look large to see her beautiful sheen.
