Thunder Hole

Rest day today. It is incredibly difficult not to go hiking today. The legs and feet are pretty sore from all the walking, hiking, and running of this week and I need to prepare for tomorrow. However, it is a fantastically beautiful day outside, and it is autumn on vacation! We did a little 'light walking' and sight-seeing via car and then headed back to the cottage. It felt so wrong to be inside at 2:00 on an amazing afternoon, so we gathered up our cribbage game and some snacks and headed down to the harbor....just in time for the temperature to drop and the wind to pick up, oh well.

Pasta carbo load and early to bed tonight. Big day tomorrow, and last official day of vacation.
