Into the light

Went for a walk along the river today. This tunnel passes under a busy road. It's only 6 feet high, so you have to mind your head if you are taller than that. The amazing thing is it's quiet here, the traffic sounds are muffled, only a soft whoosh comes through, even though a few feet away, lots of cars and heavy trucks are speeding by. The path is fairly well used by joggers and cyclists, and the odd fisherman.
