I didn't have my camera with me so it's a poor phone shot but I couldn't resist it!

Monty has been unwell for a while. Previously he had a growth on his foot which had to be removed. Now he has a thyroid problem which manifests itself in many ways.....one of which is encapsulated toes which is apparently a problem in humans but is not often recorded in animals....hence his swollen right paw. He is a beautiful gentle dog and now that he has been diagnosed he is improving day by day.

His hair is pretty thin in places and today he was shivering and feeling the cold, so his owner wrapped him in a blanket. Theo loves to snuggle up with someone and was only too happy to be solicitous and help to heat him up!!

Stella likes to pretend she is the only dog and it's all not happening!!

We have gone from snow to torrential rain and wind now...thought I'd just keep you all up to date with a weather report!
