A river runs through it

The town of Inverness, that is. Thinks it is a city. Isn't. The river Ness dominates it. Flows out of Loch Ness. A deep loch. A lot of water on a rainy day. Today was cold, wet and windy. A transition from autumn into winter. I wore my woolly hat to keep the wind off my balding pate. Not glamorous, more practical.
