In Scotland, (well at least in Glasgow), fruit machines are called Puggy machines. Apparently it goes back to when monkeys were referred to as Puggies. At that time there were many organ grinders around, so with the action being similar, the name got transferred to fruit machines. So the story goes!
The guy is safe and in one piece. He was only repairing it.
