Self-portrait- or planet?

Had my free annual eye check-up today, courtesy of our NHS, and afterwards I asked the young optician, Emma Drewery in Bridge-of-Allan, if I could take a photograph of my eye x-ray.

She agreed. Previous opticians have refused. Not for the first time I have been aware of the similarity between the internal structure of the body and the universe.

But then we are all made of stardust so maybe I should not be surprised.

( We have just had a power cut for about half an hour- lights are now back on).
