Skew whiffy
Spent the day in Sheffield today, and managed to get out at lunchtime to take some photographs around the hotel that hosted my meeting. This car park is really striking - it seems that some of the most wacky buildings in town centres these days are often multi-storey car parks. Strange days. Anyway, lunchtime proved to be a weather window too, with bright blue skies and sunshine. I had to dash off to the station as soon as the meeting was over, although needn't have bothered - the train was late. Odd to hear the announcer in the station reeling off a long list of delayed train arrivals and departures, then without a trace of irony explain that doors to trains would be closed early before train departures to prevent delays. I got back in to Edinburgh an hour late....
