Hanging On

This Rosa Rugosa hip hangs on beautifully to become possible bird food as winter moves on.

Winter?? Yes!! I think so...
It was 20ºF (-6.6C) when I woke up and my feet have never warmed up.
For this photo I rushed outside, saw the setting sun lighting it, took one snap, and raced back indoors. And to think it was only 2 days ago the high temps were over 50ºF... of course, we were on the front edge of those tornadoes. This must be the 'after' icy edge.
