I wasn't quick enough to grab the moment this Currawong swooped down and fed a morsel to her chick; here she is sitting on the nest - so perhaps there are more eggs still to hatch.

I watched this nest several weeks back when it was 'under construction' on a tree branch hanging out over the Obi Obi River which runs through Maleny. It looked a risky spot to choose to me - yet obviously the Currawong knew better!
