Should have...

…a photograph of Laura, Thom’s friend who I met for lunch. But no, I forgot to get my camera out because we were chatting too much, so instead you get a picture of this beautiful bunch of flowers that Thom bought me, now no longer in a mug as Thom also bought me a vase as he said that he couldn’t cope with seeing the flowers he bought me in a mug! I swear that man is more decoration conscious than me! I love him for it though, when someone is so thoughtful that not only do they get you flowers, but also something to put them in…well, you know.

Back to Laura, so we headed to a pub quite close to the university, and I had an amazing fishfinger sandwich. I say fishfinger but what it really was, was a full on piece of battered cod in a barm, with chips and salad on the side. Not only chips though, but salt and pepper chips…amazing! Company was pretty awesome too, as we also met Laura’s sister who had come down for the weekend to visit. As Laura and Thom had a two hour rehearsal with the dancers they have for their collaborative project, and I had a lot of work to do, I decided to get an early bus and head back to Warwick to make things easier for everyone involved!

When I got back, of course I didn’t get any work done; instead I spent the time catching up with Beth and Clare. But oh well, I meant well.
