Cuban Flag.

The flag of Cuba flies proudly in Plaza de la Revolucion, Havana. Designed in 1848, the star stands for independence and the red triangle signifies hardiness, bravery, strength, and valour or the blood shed to free the nation. The blue stripes refer to the three old divisions of the island and the white stripes represent the purity of the patriotic cause.
