Trongate 103

I quickly dropped into 'Trongate 103' which opened at the weekend. It's the new centre for arts and creativity.

Housed over 6 stories in a former Edwardian Warehouse. I was very impressed and would recommend a visit if you are in the area.

It brings together a number of creative organisations including Street Level Photoworks, Project Ability, Glasgow Print Studio, Transmission Gallery, Sharmanka Kinetic Theatre, Glasgow Independent Studio and Project Room, Glasgow Media Access Centre, the Russian Cultural Centre and Cafe Cossachok.

(Well worth going just for a meal in Cafe Cossachok).

The timing of the opening is excellent as apart from their own opening last weekend we now have Open Doors Weekend and the Merchant City Festival coming up.
