hanging on

When I first opened the door this morning the moon and stars were out but there was a big bank of cloud in the distance which soon obscured them.

Despite the cloud I took an early morning walk to the lake (in the dark). Got a few photos of Bownessie (actually a few rocks) before the rain started but with the high ISO they were very grainy so I'll try again another day.

Still needed a blip so a riverside walk later provided me with 3 possible photos - a watery one, a bit of fence and these leaves. The water and fence will be there all winter - the leaves won't be on the tree much longer.
