Snowy Outlines

It stopped snowing just as dusk was starting, producing this ghostly light. Many trees still have not dropped their leaves so there will be many broken branches by morning with the weight of the snow. The cherry trees like these have been bare for a while but you can see the colour of the beech tree leaves in the background.

Shivering branches. Keep warm wherever you are!

Yeterday's cowslips must be buried now but they will be back in the spring.
