Very odd fly!!

Was outside my office taking a call when I noticed this fly on a branch, I have never seen one like this before! So as I chat I watch the fly....he's not moving. I finish my call and decide to go and get my camera whilst thinking to myself it will be gone by the time I get back.
To my surprise the fly is still in the same place.....I take several shots but no movement. So I decide to get a stick and see if it is alive......damn right it was....it flew straight at my face.....leaving me flapping me hands at myself.
That will teach me!!
