HMS Warrior

We were all up early this morning and off up to Dorchester to catch a coach to Portsmouth, a British Legion outing.
The main itinerary was to see the new Marie Rose exhibition which was fantastic.
The Marie Rose was built for King Henry VIII and sunk on 19th July 1545 and raised in 1982 an amazing feat.

There are two other ships that you can visit, HMS Victory, Nelson's flag ship and HMS Warrior, in the picture.
Just before we boarded our coach the ship was being bathed in the evening sun.
A great day, finished off with fish and chips.!!
