Cumbrae, with Arran Beyond

Today in Largs dawned calm and clear counter to many expectations of coming storm and snow. This is the view from my mother's balcony and it's always a joy to see it like this, and, indeed, in all the other conditions that Mother Nature flings this way...and there are many! We had a marvellous alarm-clock free morning before helping Mum with some important matters that were the primary reason for our trip home this visit. If StuartRobertson looks in, perhaps he'll agree to one day give me a private driving lesson on how to navigate the Greenock road system!
