One Bird, Short Blip

No birds were interested in the goodies on our back fence rail today, other than this Spotted Towhee and a couple of sparrows that were too quick for me to photograph.

I've spent most of the day working on holiday photo gifts, and we're off soon to the opera -- the film version of Puccini's Tosca, filmed at the Royal Opera House, shown in our local independent film center. There's a free Mount Bakery dessert for those indulging in a glass of wine, both of which can be purchased at the theater and taken in to enjoy at our seats -- an added incentive to go!
