Canadiens getting fat.

Canada geese are getting fatter by the day putting on valuable fatty deposits and muscle before the long haul down south. They eat the leftovers from the fall wheat after the harvest but are quite nervous if you come nearby,they take off.
Nighttime they spend nearby on an island in the middle of a local lake where I use to swim in the summer and iceskate around on in winter time as the local area freezes before the snow falls.
The Swedish, Finnish and Norwegian population of Canada geese (Branta canadensis), now amounting to some 30?50 000 birds, was founded by only five individuals.
