Azure Sky

There was no azure to be found in our sky today. Only gray. This is a picture my daughter Laura painted about 25 years ago. Look at that beautiful azure sky! I have this mounted and hanging in my office, along with a very abstract picture that Anna scribbled colored when she was little.

This is a big day for Anna. She bought tickets in May to see Selena Gomez tonight, so has been waiting a long time. I will drive her into Laura's house and Laura will go with her into Minneapolis for the concert. I am thankful that Laura is willing take her because I was not looking forward to sitting in a stadium full of screaming girls!
