Sitting

Sitting in the screen-enclosed outside area of a bar this morning practising our Catalan with C who, as well as being our Catalan teacher's mother, is part of the Voluntariat per la Llengua program run by the Catalan Government. An old Olive tree provides the shadows.

C's kindly invited the four of us for lunch next Friday, as she did last year, and I think I'll make her some mince pies as a gift. Last year I remember I took her a Lemon Drizzle cake.

It looks sunny, and it was, but with a bitter wind and we all ended up frozen. We could have gone inside, but with a load of students and two TVs our Catalan wouldn't have coped.
