Winter is Coming

Is there anything nicer than walking in bright sunshine on a chilly winter morning?

A day spent indoors reading and thinking and talking on the phone. And roasting a chicken. And a walk in the gardens with my camera trying to capture something of the shift from autumn into winter.

And now, home-made fish and chips and the start of House of Cards on Netflix. A drop of white wine, you say? Oh yes.
