The wreck!

This is a description as to how I was feeling after receiving Facebook message from youngest son who is travelling in South America. He feared his debit card had been cloned and he was sure that his account would be drained of his travelling money. The youngest always sees a drama in every crisis. I spent two hours on to the fraud team who advised that the only option was to cancel the card - leaving him without any means of paying or accessing his account. I couldn't get back in touch with him, so spent the rest of the day worrying that he would become destitute in Bolivia and that I would become poorer in Brighton - one would automatically follow the other.
I spent a lovely afternoon in Toppsham, though, a beautiful town, just outside Exeter on the Exe estuary.
Arrived home to learn from youngest son that maybe he had mistaken the withdrawal as fraud and it could well have been his own transaction that was labelled as being from the bank's HQ in another town. Not sure yet, but think we live to fight another day.
