Slow ebb.
Day off today and so a thoroughly smashing lie-in, a mooch about doing nothing in particular and then a stroll along the riverfront in Wivenhoe as the sun went down.
For me an ebbing tide exposing mudflats provides a more stark picture than when the incoming tide is about to cover them, probably due to the increased reflective nature of the still-wet substrate.
The dinghy just looked gorgeous.
