Autumn Willows

Still plenty of leaves on the willows alongside the brook in Chapman's gardens, Emmanuel College. The brook is part of Hobson's Conduit which flows through Cambridge. I called in here on my way to meet my 'golf widow' friend for a pre-Christmas lunch of turkey with all the trimmings, then to the Arts cinema to see 'The Butler' a very moving film which we enjoyed. After the lovely sunshine earlier in the day, we were surprised to find it almost dark and raining when we came out.
