Stonebarrow Sunset

Slightly calmer day today and took my son up to Stonebarrow on a real Bear Hunt after I'd collected him from school. The aim was to find enough strong sticks to be able to make a Tipi (hopefully) tomorrow in his room so he can sleep in it tomorrow night.

This sight met us after we'd parked at Stonebarrow and it did take my breath away.

We didn't find any bears, and we had to stop singing the Bear Hunt song when in the light of dusk, he started to feel a bit worried/scared that we might actually bump into a bear!!

After a good scout around we returned home with several worthy sticks. Tipi construction starts in the morning!!!!
