Don't hate me because ...

I'm beautiful! I had a busy day photographing hoar frost at the lake, a heron on the creek, and then got dragged out to a farm to look at some German Shepherd puppies. The puppies did not catch my eye so much as this boy, a Royal Palm turkey, the breed first discovered on a farm in Florida in the 1920's. It took until the early 70's to become "recognized" as a breed and they are more ornamental than raised for meat. How gorgeous was he??!! He even danced for me and I could swear I heard "I'm sexy and I know it" playing in the background.
