Floors! We Win!

Finally, 5th coat of polyurathene and the floors are done. I am undecided about why I kept getting differing finishes, but this finally gave a good finish across the whole floor. I'm thinking that polyurathene in the can has different properties as you use the can. The closer to the bottom you get, the more the finish changes for some reason.

Anyway, I did this on Friday evening, and left it to dry all weekend. Today it was looking good so it's 2 days of no shoes on the floor. The finish has some strength after 24 hours, and gets better over 72 hours. I tend to be gentle with the floors for a few days.
