Commuter Challenge
An early start rendered earlier...
Took part for the fourth year in a row in the Commuter Challenge for European Mobility Week - this year of the four start points I was leaving from Queen Margaret University, and was asked to be there 15 minutes earlier to have a chat with the BBC (I've done speaking things for the organiser before so she knows what to expect).
This was the BBC Radio Scotland reporter at the end in St Andrews Square (where he spoke to more 'official' people). If you're at all interested you can listen here from about 1:20.30.
Got beaten by the Brompton + Train combo (by 6 minutes - would have been less but no platform-waiting-time was factored in and I contracted red light-itis, but then that's part of the difference in option. 27 minutes total time wasn't bad overall.
Good fun as ever, and croissants and muffins on arrival makes the legs turn that little bit faster.
Truly counting down time now. Which isn't necessarily a good thing when there's still a pre-holiday-full-work-day to come tomorrow.
