Because I move a lot, home is where my daughter and I are. But the place I feel I belong is here. Denniston. I feel rejuvenated and at peace when I am on the coast and especially when I'm on the Hill.

Denniston is a town that died once the mines closed and now famous in New Zealand through the novels by Jenny Pattrick, Denniston Rose and Heart of Coal

My family is from here. My grandfather, uncles worked in the mines up here and my father was a blacksmith, he built and maintained the Arial ropeway that is my blip today.

It has been a brilliant day :)
