Trees, glorious trees

I walk past this bank of beech and oak every Saturday to buy the bread from our local shop, garage, agricultural engineers and centre of all news of the parish. Every week I've taken shots of the trees looking fabulous in autumn colours and every week the images are disappointing because the colours haven't shown up as vividly as in real life. So, this week I remembered the 'Vivid' button on the camera but only after I'd taken this shot. However, although the ones taken on Vivid are certainly colourful, I liked this image best and so have enhanced it in the programme I'm using (Picassa) instead. It did look like this .... honest!
