Clouds by moonlight

Another emergency blip. It turned much colder today, and when I went into the cellar to turn up the boiler I saw another vole. I spent the afternoon blocking up possible holes, removing some of the junk. I also set a couple of live traps in case I'd blocked the vole in rather than out.

The cellar door is outside and I took this picture when I went out to check on the traps. No voles, but I liked the view of the clouds. This is a hand-held exposure (1/5s at ISO 1600 pushed by at least 4 stops). It's amazing what everyday technology can do now.
