Hunting the birds

Into town this morning to do 'stuff'! I also went round the cathedral to gawp at the Christmas Market and ice rink, which opened on Thursday evening. It's fun practising blipping the skaters, but I'm finding it hard, truthfully, to feel much enthusiasm for winter yet.

So this is my image for the day - fallen leaves on the path by Abbey Gardens and a cat who could hardly take her eyes off the birds above her head (from the noise they were making, I don't think they took their beady eyes off her much, either). I got a half second slightly distracted feline summing up, then she went back to hunting..

In the week my central heating broke down, so I say with some feeling - enjoy your Saturday and keep warm xx
