Not again...

3 deaths in one week...this one was instrumental in my college life...without her, I would not have graduated from the alma mater i loved...she supported my choices and decisions even though what i was choosing to do was not popular or widely accepted at a University that had some rather conservative ideas about a woman's place...on a broader level, as Dean of Women, she brought what had been an all male University into the 20th century with grace and love and commitment. Thank you, Mary Sue, for your love and personal support and for contributions far beyond the University domain.

while it is Truth that the several deaths this week have provided an opportunity for fond memories, reflection and gratitude, it is also true that my heart is very heavy under the weight of loss...enough..
