Jaune Savy
I went out bliphunting in the car today, because it was so cold and I didn't want to get chilled to the bone walking around. The thermometer said 5C, but the gusts of wind blowing me sideways said otherwise.
I didn't go far, so the choice of subjects was the usual: vines. I reckon you've seen enough of those the last few days, so that's one reason I chose this tree (go large to see the vines). The other reason was that it reminds me of a Max Savy painting, notably La Butte de Villedaigne, which he must have painted around this time of year. I've blipped about him before: this bright yellow is very typical of his rural scenes. All it needs to complete the scene is a couple of red-jacketed peasants bent double over the vines in the teeth of the wind. I did see one person pruning today ... brrrr! Well wrapped up, but even so ...
Off out to the jazz festival again tonight, hence an early blip :)
