Lester's spot

What a perfect Saturday it's been.

Sarah and Joanna (and Dougal!) came for lunch - beetroot (home grown) tarte tatin and home made almond cake with oranges - all very yummy!

Then Mandy and Stephen dropped of Iz and Siz for a sleepover - whilst they go off galavanting in Oxford!

Sarah then dashed off and James and Bill, Joanna and Dougal and Iz and Siz - and of course me! - headed out for a walk in the last of the light.

It was a wee bit cold but oh what a gorgeous sunset we were treated to. So we headed up to the point where we always stopped on our walks with Lester - and where we actually scattered some of his ashes - and spent a few moments just drinking it all in. Well we did - the dogs weren't that fussed by it!

Home now with pizza and Strictly still to come - bliss!
