Journey home

I grabbed this shot from the car on my way home from my stepdaughters. It was a last chance to see her, her husband and my grandson Thomas before we leave for India and they leave for Australia. So many of us will be away for Christmas .. I had so much to do today that I thought I would get this in the camera early and then I have given it a painterly finish. I think we are seeing the last leaves on the trees and as they fall we prepare to go too...
