Our swallows return..

A few years ago daughter Penni named our annual nesting pair of Lesser Striped swallows Claude and Jade. We like to think they are the same two that return every year. Last year their nest above the patio light was hijacked by the local sparrows, much to our dismay. But they are busy building again, and I have told the family that when they come here for Christmas we may well have the privilege of seeing the offspring of Claude and Jade!! I will attempt to keep a blip diary of their progress! I'm not sure if the photo is of Claude or Jade...I will photograph them together sometime!
