Olivine Crystals

I found these in the lava fields on Landsarote, Olivine occurs in basalts, also in stony meteorites, it is common in basalts on the Moon, and is thought to be the most abundant mineral in the Earth's mantle about 20miles down. Quality crystals which are known as Peidot. (The 50p is there to give scale.)
