"Sacred to the Memory of James Brown 1876 aged 77" is the inscription.

I suppose 77 was quite a reasonable age to attain in those days.

That was what drew my attention to this gravestone in St Stephen's Churchyard Tonbridge, because Schubert was born in 1797 -only slightly earlier- but died very young in 1828.
