Fiddler's Ferry

from Winter Hill. Glorious morning - out early to get to the far side of Winter Hill to get that early morning light. A run up from Belmont to get to the top of the hill - by this time others were about. Lots to choose from, but this one stood out with the walkers adding to the image. The Power station is at Widness about 50 miles away and the remains of the inversion in the lower lying land in between is a bonus.

Wonderful morning to be out on the hills after Winter Hill I headed out to Great Hill, but the best of the light had disappeared. A joyful eleven miles with a fair bit of climbing and this the only tarmac traversed : )
