Ullswater

After seeing the boys to school, I had a quick visit to the doctors and then dropped my car off at the garage. The bonnet latch hasn't been fastening properly for a short time so decided to get it in the garage before I ended up having it fly up and smashing the windscreen!

Had a drive out to the Lake District with Brian. We drove past Lake Windermere then stopped off in Ambleside to have a look around and something to eat. We then went up the Struggle, through Patterdale and then got back on the motorway at Penrith before heading home.

It's been a perfect Autumn day. The light was just beginning to go when I took this but it's not often that Ullswater is so still.
