Birthday Girl

Today, our oldest daughter turned 18!!!! Can't believe we have reached this milestone of an age already!!! Where have the years gone?!!!
We've had a lovely day celebrating with her, watching her open her pressies and cards and then enjoy a family meal together over at the Travellers Rest on Caerphilly mountain. Food was very nice but service was not so good, had to wait an hour for main course!! The people on the table behind us had to send their food back because it was cold! And one of hubby's friends told him that he had a very poor meal there a few weeks ago so I was a little concerned but thankfully our food was very nice.
Carys really enjoyed it and thankfully her new boyfriend met with approval from her grandparents!!! Phew!!! Lol!
Tomorrow evening will be party time when she'll be having a joint party with her friend. The excitement is fever pitch!!!
