An interrupted preening session

A so often my cockatiel Mieke and budgie Ozzie started one of their rather lengthy preening sessions when I got the camera out to take some photos of them.

I was able to go to the sanctuary and walk one of their dogs this afternoon. It was a very grey day with poor light though and I couldn't find anything to blip at the park during my walk with Alfred. Fortunately I'd managed to take a couple of shots of my birds before I left the house.
