NUTELLA

Up after Max and Jess left to go to school. Duncan and I had headed to Noosa to go surfing. Walked along bear footed to the beach, super sore on the feet as it was so hot. Duncan gave me his board go surf on. It was a lot of fun and managed to stand up most times on the waves. Realised that I had drifted out a bit too much at one point when I turned around and everybody were little dots!! Luckily didn't see any fins around. Lucy told me she hated the thought of surfing because of sharks!! We stayed surfing for quite a long time. We then met Carl, Duncan's friend. He said he thought he recognised the surf board I was using but that he looked different!! We then went back to the 'truck' and put the surf boards in before walking along to hasting street to get a coffee. We sat on the grassy bit and watched everyone on the beach. There were some people doing a lifeguard course on the beach and Duncan and I laughed at a couple of them doing the fitness bit. We said if we were drowning we would definitely be dead.
I made pesto for pasta tonight as we had masses of basil left. Also made a salad for later on. After supper had a go of Max's electric guitar. Tired doing the easiest tune on the guitar but completely failed. Max has masses of rubix cubes in his room and I asked if I could mix one of them up as a joke and he said 'yes' and then fixed in less than a minute!! Haha. Watched a video of this guy that can make any sound. So strange!
