Rough day for our family. Became even closer with this guy than I thought was possible with a therapeutic family hike to the Ice Caves. Last hike of the year before they close the road to this favorite spot and it proved to be well worth the time it took to get out of the house with layer upon layer of clothing. Lots of questions answered, many left to "we have to wait and see". I'm in love with his little body, his huge heart and his inquisitive nature that seems beyond his precious 5 years.
