Globalisation
Is the topic of my daughter's geography homework so she left with her camera to take some photos to essentially prove how small the world is.
This is the dairy display in the local supermarket in the Plaza which serves the Gold Coast where we are. As you can see this could be almost anywhere and not very local to Hong Kong. I think it is a combination of the number of ex-pats who are here (and a factor of how small the world is!)
One bonus is that it does help us all to settle if we can buy what is familiar. The downside is that what is familiar is scattered across a number of shops and is also more expensive. A small price to pay I think.
