Scaptia (Scaptia) auriflua

One of my favourite flies. So pretty and fluffy and not a blood-sucker either.

Wish I'd gone to a 3D cinema to see 'The Day of the Doctor', like my niece did, rather than watching it on the TV. It would have been brilliant!
